Setting up an Internet Connection

Hi All,

I will be in Sawaang Daen Din visiting the in-laws in November / December 2010, and am planning to set up an internet connection at the house. I'm told that landlines are impossible to get, and that satellite is the way to go. Does anybody have any experience with this?

you can do it easier and cheaper using DTAC telecoms, as long as there is a decent signal

they sell a dongle for your USB and you just pay what you use

of course, if DTAC do9esn't have a signal....

We also stay in a rural situation with no landlines. we use cat telecom cdma 850 thb a month. it works good, not the high speed ADSL but usable download 950 bt only have some problems with the streaming of some videos.

I live in nakhon phanom I have a TOT line 4mb internet conection b590 a month not sure if avalable country wide yet
