It was there 10 mins ago and I refreshed it, GONE.
On the Udon map forum you DO NOT discuss Sponsors, unless its in glowing terms.
What day was the bashing? I was in Molly Malone's Saturday Night (17th) and Sam was drinkin' Red Bull and Vodka (yech). I left about 11 p.m. though.

I think it was actually a few weeks ago. Trying to piece it together but my CIA/DEA/SAS contacts have gone to ground.

It happened a few weeks ago, I suspect the Ozzie who got the blows was acting like an Ozzie arse but Sam didn't defend the accusations, maybe because he's a thick spud farmers son and can't use a 'putor.
There seems to be a few gezzers in Udon who frequent bars but can't have a beer without getting into strife. I dunno, I really don't get to go near them.

oh new photos on the udon day and night website, looks like they are really moving ahead with the construction. They say it should be open 1st July. I Hope so, need a few new watering holes here in udon, everything is going stale. Could do with some sexy girls back from pattaya too. More eye candy required

    By Golly your right,
I thought they were talking on Udon forum early June, but my eyes deceived me through the Leo induced haze.

On the map. Not really SS, its just another bunch of half assed bars waiting for mugs on both sides of the counter to loose money.
Udon does have one nice feature, its called the night market.
Excellent food, beer at almost seven prices and oodles of superb, long legged totty to ogle.
Why you would bother going to a bar to sit along side a bunch of old farts beats me.

It only seems Interconnected because 99% of the pussy for sale in Pattaya is Issan pussy that couldn't be sold in Issan so was imported to Pattaya, so you get imported pussy for local prices..

But you will notice that the imported stuff taste saltier than the local stuff, thats to keep it from spoiling during the long hot ride over.5555

Hell I don't know why PP didn't say something about it, he knows better than anyone.

yeah but pattaya is a SH*THOLE, spent enough weeks there to realise that, Dont know if udon day and night will put udonthani on the map but it is certainly an improvement.

Dont know whats up with PP but I guess he is putting it down cos he wants to keep the delights of Udonthani all to himself. What are bars for except to spend money and have a laugh. Least you dont get mugged by ladyboys here, dont have all thais shouting tip tip TIP. and not 1 indian tailor trying to shake your hand saying in a cockney accent 'YER AWIGHT MATE'.

For me udon day and night will be a massive improvement and will encourage the tourists to maybe stay a few extra days in UDON, instead of going to the rat infested soi farang as it was and being disgusted and jumping on the next plane home.

Give Udonthani a try, what you got to loose? You may just like it more than you think.... i know i did, been all over thailand, this for me is the best place to be.

    Thats my 2 cents worth

Isn't Udon Thani the place where old people go to die? I heard it had more old age pensioners than Bournemouth and Miami combined.

Not much up with me, but after 13 yrs living in Bangers, Udon takes a bit of getting used to. Apart from its relaxed quietness its not got a lot going for it. The Entertainment is well! it ain't really is it ? The bars are a total waste of time, no attraction for me and I used to spend a lot of time in Bangers getting around.
Food wise, fvck all in the way of good western food, couple of crappy pizza places and a one or two low end rib or steak outfits that wouldn't last 5 mins in Pattaya or Bangkok.
On the other hand for my daughters its near to paradise, playgrounds, swimming pools, they have a lot of resources here.
I am very pleased with their school here.
But why a single guy or even couple, without children would live here I would never know.

sounds like you are miserable in udon, why not move to somewhere you prefer?

As for me liking udon it beats the hell out of watching the sick old fat bald dirty men in pattaya slobbering over the girls and treat them like shit, whats so great about pattaya?

some of us actually like udon because of the quietness, polite people, less hassle, cooler weather, pretty girls, ease of getting around, cheap food and why would you want to eat western food when we have such good thai restaurants here.

Been here too many years, now I would take a good meat pie over the best Thai food there is on offer.
