^ We get about eight eggs organic hen eggs a day. Maybe I should look into exporting them, so long as there's no egg tariff?

The word is out, and as luck would have it we had four chewy treats today.

If I've passed on one thing to the daughter, it's a love of these dogs.

Luckily she has the Kommandant's looks.

    Thank you, Malmo Mike!

The pretty white mummy pigeon was on the nest this morning before I attempted to slide a piece of plywood under to contain the mess.

And guess what, another egg had been laid during the night.

Unfortunately, the plywood is warped and bent upwards, and when mum returned to the nest she landed on the edge of the wood and the nest jumped up, and one of the eggs rolled down to the balcony wall. I found a few bricks to weight the wood down.

But it was still bouncing around, so I thought 'fukk it', and ended up achieving little else than building a containing wall for the nest.

The things I seem to spend my time on in this place.

A piece of plastic poster board from any stationery shop will do it without any issues, can even slice it with a cutter, or a Stanley knife as both of use would probably call it, to be the egg-act size of the bricked area. I'd go for brown.

Good idea. I'll just pop down to our local arts and crafts shop.

I'll maybe pick up a nice set of water colours as well.

You have been looking for a hobby. You could follow Winston Churchill who often painted his pond at Chartwell. From memory, your pond is bigger than his.

Lovely to have birds around. So to speak. I miss our Lil Brownie. Who certainly wasn't shy around the boys. I think she had 9 or 10 broods over maybe 18 months. As soon as they could fly she'd be off to renew her passport for the weekend, then come back pregnant without fail.

They all got cute names, such as Caramel and Latte, Hazelnut andAlmond, until the 4th or 5th brood when we couldn't be bothered anymore.

    Why not.

Would have one near every school, I'd imagine. Get the kid to pick one up on the school run while you're lazing around the place on your annual 10 month break from work!!

I sometimes imagine that I'll leave the house in lovely cool weather and take a leisurely morning stroll around the litter-free neighbourhood while browsing for a vibrant coffee shop to spend a couple of hours in.

This is Korat, there's no point in imagining things.

Anyway, hubby has taken over egg-sitting duties for the day.

Did the gardener put those three strategically placed house bricks there?

The male pigeons are a lot better trained than the playboy doves that endlessly hit-and-run my lovely brownie.

^ I'm not putting that A4 junk on my balcony, but I'm sure that 'Naf Stationary' will stock it!

Anyway, our house isn't on that map.

Please don't read anything into this... but has anyone ever called you 'annoying'?

Nope, the brickwork was all my own.

Wifey seems to do the early morning shift, with hubby taking over later when it heats up.

I'm thinking of setting up a live webcam stream and monetising this, like the zoo does for that Moo Deng baby hippo.

Wagering on delivery might occur , luckily locals refrain from all such immorality.

To ensure it goes viral on Thik Toke /Farcebook /Twatter a flash of PJs and perhaps Bristol City or London Rubba Co ads around the nest?

Stick up a poll when wil it hatch?

    If there could be another...

Dan spent a decade sleeping in this spot and now it has become Anna's firm favourite place as well.

Every time I see her there, I'm reminded of Dan.

Earlier when I gave Tem his tea I couldn't help noticing that yet again some Thais had had their lunch at the end of our road.

It's was easy to tell, because there was a load of dumped plastic bags scattered about, again, like every other day. I know that the plastic bags are dropped every day because I pick them up every bloody day. Our bin is no more than 15 foot away from this lunch spot yet it is just too much effort for these retards.

I don't know why this winds me up so much after all this time. It's not my land, it's not even my country of residence without jumping through fukking hoops every year, but it does. The Thai custom of dropping a load of litter whenever and where-ever they stop to endlessly stuff their greedy faces really pisses me off.

In fact, it does my head in. I care more about their litter-strewn, shit-hole of a country than they do.

Anyway, after putting their litter in my bin, I went back to the house and got a bucket of semi-rotted, chicken shit manure, to which I liberally added a few fresh dog turds, of which I have an unlimited supply.

And I scattered it around this dining area.

This really stank bad, and one of Tem's girlfriends was immediately on the scene.

    Enjoy your lunch tomorrow, fuckos!

^^^ I don't tend to go for blondes.

Every single morning 'Black Puppy' races down the road to greet us. I think Tem's new pack have learnt the sound of the back gate being opened and miraculously turn up for one of Malmo Mike's chewy bone treats.

If we weren't so full I'd be temped to give him a home.

I noticed that he soon started eating the chicken shit trap I have set for the litter-dropping lunchers. Maybe it won't be such a deterrent after all?

At least this was after he jumped up on the daughter's neatly laundered school uniform.

Another thing that happens every single morning... Lola runs off with one of the wife's pink flip-flops.

She waits until the wife has put one on, then swipes the other and runs off.

Watching the wife squawking and chasing Lola around the garden every morning is better than telly!

    Well, Thai tv at least.

Even the guys on the other side come out to watch.
