^ no answer... maybe he has!

But joking aside, her Aussie passport has expired so she's not so easy to travel with these days, oh dear, never mind.

Also, if she stays home it saves turning the telly off when we go away.

But anyway, it's been a long day, and after starting with an offshore medical at Bumrungrad, followed by lunch, I dropped the daughter back at the hotel, because, and I quote, 'it's boring watching you drink beer with your work mate', I mean, WTF?

    So, I got stuck in...

No draught Leo sadly, but Singha and Tiger substituted nicely.

As luck would have it I have enough material to see England through to the finals.

So, who is this red-haired, attacking forward/winger who without doubt made a big difference to the match against Slovakia, when he eventually came on?

Fun fact: Maya has had as many shots on target during the tournament as this guy, Bukayo Saka, Kobbie Mainoo, Jarrod Bowen, Anthony Gordon, Conor Gallagher and Trent Alexander-Arnold combined, and she's a dog, FFS.

    And she's not even there!

^ She doesn't seem to be.

She's completely lost interest in international travel altogether, a shame after spending a third of her life in the west. The move back to Isaan hasn't done her any favours, in my opinion.

Yet, it can have it's moments for some.
    Others....probably not.

    To each his own.

Spent a year in the middle of Isaan in my mid-20's after me Canadian mate moved there and I fancied a change.

Pretty much spent the year shagging everything that moved (there was quite a lot that moved), motorbike riding and playing chess and guitar while having a few beers with local Western buddies most evenings. Lovely big blue skies and friendly people for the most part. After that came 10 years in Bangkok. I'd rather 10 years in Isaan.

    Regrets, I've slewed a few
But then again, too few to mention
I did what I had to do
And saw it through without extensions
    I planned each charted horse
Each careful step along the byway
And more, much more than this
    I did it my WAI

    Yogi moves, a lot...

I am probably unfair on Isaan because in many ways it does suit me. I shouldn't really generalise Korat as Isaan, because it is after all just the 'gateway', and not the true backwater sticks. I agree that apart from the local dog poisoners/crossbow killers/stick and hammer beaters, the burglars and scroungers, the Isaan folk are on the whole quite friendly.

I think that if we lived more rural with more land I would prefer it, but with a regular job rotation in the West and a daughter who I want educated to Western standards (so she can escape), I've only ever really stuck one foot in Isaan... maybe not given it a chance... but now I want to pull that foot back out.

A few weeks before he couldn't sleep, so went downstairs and had a cuppa on the veranda. Reckon some young lad saw the farang.

Went back up to bed and 10 minutes later he heard Windows starting. Not sure if dreaming or not he went downstairs completely bollock-o, there was a young lad holding his laptop. Instead of just pinching it, the fokhead opened it up and booted it. Perhaps picky about if Windows 8 or 10?

Copped a look at ol' matey and legged it out the door with it.

He killed himself 2.5 years ago. I mentioned it on here as he was a member (Frambo was his username).

The 2nd event wasn't linked to Isaan, only the fussy laptop robbery.

I believe your statement on the "bed sheet gymnastics".
