Just a regional glitch during the dry season. It's been known to happen.
By the third or fourth week of April into May you'll know, as the seasons use to be distinguishable and reasonably predictable - depending where one is located.
The textbook has always insisted that June is the kicker, yet always starts a month earlier.
Within the last decade, the season arrives earlier and usually last longer....even into Loy Kratong [in some instances].
Lucky you, dry as a bone here on Mabprachan.
Very regional; in our area the first good rains start in May allowing ploughing and planting of rice in seed beds. However, June is invariably dry and the beds require irrigation from the ponds before the real rain hits in July for planting in the fields. Much of it is hit and miss with lots of trips to the Wat to ask for the best policy for the year.Originally Posted by thaimeme

Lucky they fire rockets into the sky. Without them there'd be no rains at all.Originally Posted by Troy
We've had several good rains in Feb this year. Rained nearly all night about 3 weeks ago. I don't remember ever seeing that much rain so early before. These things are pretty localized. 50 Kms down the road...not a drop.
smeg and jeff trying to BS each other.
I think they have Thai restaurants in Gloucestershire, so you might get something from him.Originally Posted by Luigi

How strange. My comment on the above snide stalker posts gets deleted but the snide stalker posts remain. This forum has really lost its way.
Try being more direct. Works for me. Vanish in seconds. No rain since Jan. 8, 2015.
Mark your calendars folks.
