Little update on life in the badlands, gather there was a fire fight in the nearby jungle last night, 3 dead. No one knows if the dead are from our village or not.
Chinese whispers, drugs or illegal logging.
Won't make the papers as there is no press out here and will never compete with the death rate on the Cambodia border.

Anyone looking for an adventure holiday we have it all. Animals not documented, places unseen, unexploded bombs and colourful people with automatic weapons. Yet safe for tourists, I should build a resort. jim

Not really, if you live in a city people get killed all the time, cars, guns, drugs and domestic murders. Here it does not happen in the bad neighborhoods, but in the jungle.
When you hear about bad things down the road a few miles, you don't care much.
Bit like living in LA and hearing what happens in South central LA, your not a gang banger, not your problem. Jim

My village is rather tame,but one thing is fact,if a youngster gets addicted to Yabaa,he is told to leave,he is not welcome and his family can only visit him away from the village.
It is a sensible approach as the innocent children must be protected.
