Hello TD

Hello all. I decided to check out TD after so many references to it on Ajarn.com. I post as Jag2004 on that forum. My first impression is that alot banned members from Ajarn gather here for rants against the "evil BKKPhil". I'm sure there's alot more to this site than that but I've just arrived and haven't done too much reading yet. OK, back to the index...

Welcome.

The Teak Door difference is that rants are allowed.

But, it's a lot more than that. Some great travel and construction threads and a whole crew of very helpful people.

I stay away from the Issues forums, but if you want to get beat up, that seems to be the place to go.

Hello Agent Smith, if that is your real name. There may be the odd anti Ajarn thread/post on here, but you'll find that they are usually the work of one person. I won't say who that person is, it will be more fun for you to find out for yourself. All I will say in order to provide a little background is that before the animosity set-in the poster in question used to happily share a garden shed with Phil and LDMA in North London - And although the actual details of the fall-out that occurred have remained a mystery, it is known that it involved biscuit crumbs. Still, forget about all that nonsense, there's rice-pudding recipe threads to salivate over. Dive in.

Rice pudding schmice pudding, there's also decent chili recipe or two dig into a bowl of that!
Enjoy the board helluva lot here to read some good, some better, some? well, some folks enjoy that sorta thing.
