Thread: Hello Teakdoorians

I just wanted to say hello to all of you. I have never been a poster on any boards before so I am virginal in that sense. I have been a lurker for about 3 years enjoying the Building, travel and photo threads as well as the many of the others.
I have been to Thailand 4 times and picked up hints on things to do and see here. I enjoyed a delicious meal by the ocean in Jomtiem in a restaurant recomended here and saw some sights in Chiang Rai that were suggested.
I look forward to contributing to the banter when I can.

Thank you for the replies. Right now I am living in Georgia, USA although I have lived in other places in The US and Central and South America. I first visited Thailand 3 years ago to meet up with some friends on an extended visit . Loved the country and the cost of living. Eventually met a sweetheart of a woman in Chiang Mai. Some Thai friends had been trying to get me together with her for a while. Met her, fell in love, married her and plan on settling in the north of Thailand once I retire from the daily grind.
I enjoy the building threads as I plan on building in the future and have learned alot from all of your trials in the LOS. I still have to settle as to where to live. I prefer the country with lots of rai, my wife wants to live in a moo bahn cheek and jowl with the neighbors.
I love traveling, who doesn't, so I enjoy living vicariously throuhg all of your travel posts.
Isn' t there a spell check function on the site? Then again it may be unable to cope with sum of the misteaks.
Sorry, must go as I am hardly workiing , I mean working hard now.

i think Firefox has an automatic spellchecker.
