I showed my son those pictures of your wife catching that crocodile, he asked whether you ate it, I told him of course you didn't cos you were farangs, yeah, I forgot for a few seconds that you was actually an Aussie, not something we would normally eat in the UK.

DD. Tell your son that we didn't actually eat that one as we were on a guided tour and it is illegal to eat crocodiles. Yep our stupid government has decided that there aren't enough crocs in australia nad they need protecting - so we didn't eat that one but we hve done a croc on the spit a few times in the past.

The best bush tucker however is wallaby (kangaroo) simply divine.
News is what someone, somewhere is trying to suppress - everything else is just advertising.

I do like a bit of kangaroo meself. Goes alright with lingonberry jam, and the taste is surprisingly similar to young moose.

    Wow, everyones curious!

Just got back here for R & R Yee haa.

Bung was a nickname in I ended up with in Australia years ago.

If you are familiar with the Wizard of Id cartoon strip Bung was the drunken court jester. somehow people made a connection....

When I was working in Phuket Bung meant "Old Brother" to Thai Muslims so it stuck here too. Unfortunately it also means swamp cabbage.....

Anyway, I'm off for a look around here.
