Stereotypes develop not because they are always true, but because they are mostly true. There wouldn't be a stereotype if there wasn't a basis for it. It is foolish to totally dismiss and ignore stereotypes.

If I would have based all my relationships with other people just based on sterotypes I would have missed out on some great friendships. Did you ever hear the saying "dont judge a book by its cover" I is a very good piece of advice.
