G'night. On my second tot of Red Label now....
Finish it off and buy a decent whisky, personal opinions count for a lot!
Red label is the worstest Whisky to come from the Fair ****ry!
Ah, if only. Red Label is the best I can afford now that I'm a fixed income retired geezer.
I - for good or bad have been a lifelong Whisky drinker (mind you I'm only 12) 1st wife at 18!! (divorced at 19) lived in Perthshire Scotland so I had a good grounding, Red has always been considered a mixing whiskey, Grouse - same price - much superior, some of the cheap blends that are marketed here, are again far superior and quarter of the price.
Just my 2 cents worth, just off for liver transplant now!
But, you know, a few years back "Wine Spectator" did a blind tasting of blended Scotch whiskies and Red Label came out near the top -- even beat out its more expensive kin, Black Label.
