I came back to this thread looking for a post which has subsequently been removed. I'm not bumping.

But, having now been around the forum for a while and a few posts under my belt, it's an interesting read now that I'm familiar with some of the characters here.

Despite wjblaney's tongue in cheek concluding remarks, it was good to read the balance of his post ... and some truths in there.

They're not so bad if you take them with a pinch of salt.

Don't know where else to ask, so here is as good as any.

There must be a thread which is for funny YouTubes.

I've looked in the Lounge etc, but have missed it.


Can someone please post the link please ... assuming there is one.

Yeah, with the "s" it messes up the entire thread - without OK.

I'll ask here because it's not worth a thread unto itself and I know that someone will drop by who knows the answer.

I do a lot of my reading on TD by searching under (clicking the button) 'My Replies'. Yep, look the new stuff also, but the my Replies button is my first get to.

Sometimes, I like to make just a comment on a new thread then let it go ... e.g. pick ANY Donald Trump thread.

When I click the 'My Reply' it's (Donald Trump ... FFS, why couldn't it be the Puppies Thread!) it's always near the top of page ... and I'm not interested in commenting anymore.

Sure, I could ignore it but ...

My question is ... is there anyway that you can remove the notification of new posts in a thread that you have posted in?

Click 'unsubscribe' that's just under it.

Nothing subscribed to ... ever.

Open the thread, click on Thread Tools. Select 'unsubscribe'.

Nope, I did it for this thread, clicked My Replies, and it was still there.

I click on User CP instead of My Replies. Unsubscribing from a thread removes it from there.

You're not thick. When you click New Post you will get a list of all new posts newest to oldest. Including ones you have posted on. No way to change it.
