Can't Contribute To My Own Thread

Yesterday I started a thread in Speakers Corner. Today I can't give a reply in my own thread !
Seems strange that a newbie can start a thread here but needs 100 posts to reply.
Any suggestions? A mod can transfer the thread to another section where 100 posts aren't needed ?

Thanks Davis. At my age life is too short to play games just to fulfill some stupid 100 post rule for a particular section.
Jumping hoops for immigration is more than enough for me.

It does seem odd that you can start a thread in Speakers Corner but cannot contribute to it. Did you really start it in Speakers Corner or was it moved there (by a mod) from somewhere else like the Lounge?

you may have highlighted a permissions error in the forum config

allowing people to start threads in controversial sub forums before they had proved themselves even slightly would just be hanging out the red rag to many internet fcuktards

as per above , just pop into the games room and post some pap in the various threads to get your numbers up

Yes, I started it in Speakers Corner; seemed to be the appropriate place.

Ahh. It sounds like the post you were quoting was removed by the mods, and you do not have permission to access it. (only the mods do). However, in that case, there would be no 100 post rule. Try to post again in the thread and see what happens. Post a screenshot of what you get.

I just made a successful test posting on my thread.
Checking my profile, I see that the thread opener was my 5th post. So why I got the minimum 100 post message and why the Trinidad post got deleted will join flight MH 370 as one of life's great mysteries!
Perhaps computers are only human and he was in a bad mood this morning.
