Stand on the left side of the Bike. Lift your right leg high over the bike, straddle bike. Now this is ther tricky part, this being a 70 Trumpet I am not sure, Kick? Electric? Both? Whatever, start the bike. Ride it on up here! Triumph oughta be fun on these roads man. Or barring that give Richy a call and set up a tour.

There are other Tour operators in the area. Not Harleys but perhaps easier bikes to ride. I cannot speak to other tours but the Harley tours have a lead bike and chase truck (sometimes a follow up bike as well) each day's ride begins with a briefing on road conditions, what to expect in the way of livestock, etc. feed back on pace set by the lead rider from the riders is asked for. No turns off teh main route are taken until all bikes (and riders) are accounted for. Riders are expected to have some Hawg piloting experience before goig on a tour.

We've all ridden these roads many times in all sorts of weather and in(on) all sorts of vehicles. You are safe as you can be on these tours, but you are on a motorcycle and no one is sittign over you as you ride. For tours we try to set a comfortable pace not too challenging, but not achingly slow either.

This is a great way to entertain folks visiting from back home for those that do have a bike here. Bring your friends and your own bike. No need to worry about hotels, rest or food stops, and let your friends see just what is "so damned special about living in Thailand" (I'm sure they've asked).

....clear all teh way to this village abot 100 Km north of mae Sod... This is Mae Li, a Karen Burnmese Refugee camp and is 58 kms north of Mae sot. I spend 2 days shooting in this camp which has been there for over 25 years!!! You can see in my pictures the people inside.

Not a very secure camp as u can see and people wander in and out. I tried to go in thru the front main entrance and was told NO> So went in other ways, People are VERY friendly even thou many of them have lived there their whole lives.

Yea yea i know how to KICK Start it, ( eletric start.. whats that??) I just am not looking forward to the 1,500 kms or so ride north from Phuket on it. It has not been off the island here in 11 years and still running '98 Ca plates!!

I've been tehre a few times always on the outside. never in. I've always wanted to wander around in there would be a place for some great shots (took a look at your link BTW). Pulling up on two Hawgs probably isn't the most stealthy way to slip inside though. WOuld really love to shoot the interior of that site though.

Bongo man is heading up there in the North in a few weeks, and when he gets there, he's sure to find out how he is and will let us know.

I enjoyed his participation here. I think the 'libtards' got too much for him.

You're going to have to be more specific.
