Nice bike Rigger, I would have gone MrsQ's Blackbird for the money, but if you got the dosh, go for it. It'll be fast for sure, just keep the painted bits up and the rubber down.

I would have at least taken the time to visit since I cancelled a meeting that afternoon with the boss. However being Australian I will forgive you for your lack of manners. I suppose at least you called.

On the bike front. It;s a nice bike.

Fingers crossed you don't have any problems with that rotary shock though.

I have no idea what the waiting time or availability would be for a replacement here. Although there are some sort of aftermarket standard spring setups available.

Why didn't you buy a GSX1000 or something which is going to be easier to get parts for if something goes wrong.

RB has a dozen various sports bikes.

You are still a prick for not stopping over and saying hello.

    Ride safely.

I would have droped in for a beer if I had time but after visting a few shops then having to go find the wifes bank then had to be back at the shop for a test run at 4 o clock then had to wait a hour cause it wasnt ready I got back to the hotel about 630. So I didnt have time and I will buy you a beer next time I am in Bangkok if you can get into town
As for the bike I love V twins once he fired the TL up I was hooked and I dont think parts are a big problem as there are plenty on the roads in USA Australia and Pommy land

That TL is a sweet ride! Nice to see you went for a V-Twin instead of an in-line 4. The in-line 4's are tough to beet for performance but they are a bit too ubiquitous. Personally I think I like the VTR better but I think the TL had better stock power. Anyhow, sweet ride! Enjoy.

The VTR was a great bike easy to ride and wheel stand the TL is a lot faster but takes a lot more effort to ride my forarms are killing me after only 300klm yesterday. I near run out of fuel as well I left home with a full tank and the fuel light came on at about 135klm then started to surge at 140klm as I pulled into get fuel but I had been giving it a hard time. I think I need a new tire as well this one seems to let the ass end slide around to much.
Well I am off for another morning of fun

These are my favorite non-exotic Vtwin sport bikes...great exhaust note, nice handling and power but aggresive seating.

My mate says there is another buyer for my Bird.

Problem is that I don't know what else to get.

    I can have a CB1300

    XJR1300

Possibly there is a GSX14000 Data

    or Royal Enfield 500 Electra

I love the torque on muscle bikes but I promised myself I would go slower.

So I am really tempted by the Roya Enfield.

There are a few SR 600's from late 90's kicking about as well.

Ideally I would like a Bonny but I don't think I am likely to get one unless I break into the triumph factory in Chonburi.
