Yeh but at work at the moment will be back in two weeks. I do know of some sports bikes for sale (private sale) starting with a 1998 R1 180K to K4s for between 200 to 300K and maybe a Blackbird. Not sure if they are still up for sale but will check.Originally Posted by spliff
If you can give us more of a idea of what you want to spend or type of bike it would be much easier
Well, don't want to spend a fortue but willing to part w/ the doshh for something really special. It would be nice to find a hardship sale....
well lets see if you spend 100K you will be looking at a nice 400.
If you spend 100K to 200K you will get a decent 1000 that needs a little work
If you spend 200K to 300K you will get something that is nice
300K and up well then you start getting into something special
Well, guess I don't want to spend more than 200,000 but willing to shell out more if neccessary for something nice.

If you are a little more specific about what you want, someone will be able to help.
Upright Cruiser or Chopper type, sport or sport touring?
Capacity ?
Tell you what I can get . 99 R1 with genuine book bout 200K
01 R1 with Copy book 240 K
01 Fazer with copy book 230 K
98 Zx7 with copy book 150 K
2003 ZZR 1200 no book 220 K
Rigger has Dragstar 400 no book 75k
And I think Spins lovely Black bird is for sale, only ridden by geriatric codger on Sundays
Got a pic of that dragster. Also, u know that 400 in ChumPar the Swedish dude rides sounds great and flys. set up sport. CB something he says they're very rare but not sure of that, Riggers might know it since he's in KK. I want a bike for driving to the market in Puveian or Chumpar as I live about 60clicks outside of Khon Kaen and gas is getting too much for my big Toyota 4x4.
Something like tis would do the trick I think! Got a 2000 for 200,000 at siam superbike. prices seem a bit inflated at that site...I'm sure I could do better looking around.

Spliff, I word in your shell like mate if I may, you do not buy a big bike to save money, you buy one to waste money.
My R1 uses as much fuel as my 3L turbo Vigo, a rear tire bout 9,000 of yer Thai bahts worth will last me 5,000 Kms. (Rigger about 2,000kms)
The ones on my Vigo are 100,000Km old and still working.
Big bikes are money sink holes.
Ha..ha..I'll keep that in mind. Just want mine for the occasional trip to the market. Ur right though, it's not necessary...I just want something bigger than my Honda wave 125.

If i was you, i would look for a bike at ## MOCYC.COM ## Everything about thailand motorcycle. Its all in Thai tho, but so are the prices. Have seen nice R1's there, -99 and -00 for 150k. If you have someone to put an ad there for u, you'll get lots of calls from people wanting to sell.
Here is the latest sales. ##MOCYC.com## ประกาศซื้อขาย อัพเดททุกลมหายใจ
Thanx fo rthe link, from a fellow Scandinavian...
I've been thinking about selling my Honda Blackbird, I probably wont but I'll post these pictures anyway because she looked rather nice and shiny after i treated her to a full valet and had the use of a decent camera for a few hours rather than the crappy one on my phone....
Wow, nice ride. That's a 1100, right? How much...
^ cheers! yeah 1100, you can pick them up for as little as 120,000 baht for a '97 model that might be a bit shabby. This ones a 2000 and would fetch about 175,000 baht and has had loads of money spent on it to make it tip top.
