Yamaha Fino's are all the rage in Udon.
Lots of owners are having them chromed up and customized paint jobs, lots of lights.
They remind me of Vespa's and Lambretta's.

SB, even on quite simple bikes there are many hours required to restore a bike to pristine condtion. We did quite a bit of restoration fro old Brit bikes to a Chinese army sidecar outfit.
One popular restoration was the yamaha SDR 200, a lightweight trellis frame 2 stocker, bit of a cult bike because of its unique appearance and specification. But the time and effort for a complete restoration always roars way past estimates.
[quote=Sir Burr;570101]I've spent about eight months looking for a nice, refurbished old Honda 70. Something I could tootle down the pub with.
There aren't any shops you can go to to buy one. You have to keep your eyes open and make an offer if you see one you like and the owner is willing to sell. Mostly, they don't want to part with it.
They are becoming popular with Thais and foreigners alike. Parts are plentiful and cheap.
It doesn't cost much for a paint job and re-chroming. Get five, or six of them done up, bring them to Pattaya, or Phuket and make a killing.
I reckon the profit margin can be up to 100%.
I don't have the time, unfortunately. Otherwise, I'd do it for a hobby.
My very gay looking Honda 70 Cub.

Where could it get hold of 6 i would like to try them as i rent out motorbikes in Jomtein.
Any advice on where to find them please ideal for lady bike renters.
my email is sportandstar@hotmail.com
Nice little scooter.
Maybe get it painted red for all the macho men.
Those things run like a sewing machine. But 30,000ks is about their limit before a rebuild.
^Red is for girls. All bikes should be BLACK.
It looks like a good idea to rent classic bikes out, until the customers thrash the bollocks out of the engine, and drop them. If I'd put all the work in restoring the Honda 70's I'd be broken hearted, seeing the bike returned damaged. For too nice to rent out.
Rent out the Yamaha Fino's where parts are plentiful and cheap.
Love the beer box on the back .
