Do they have a 3 wheel model in LOS?
Do they have a 3 wheel model in LOS?
I would think that the brake lines were made prior to the bike being manufactured and that would explain the date difference. I can't see a bike being stamped with a vin number that does not match the book.
edit!

Fixed that for you mate, save you linking everybody to your facebook...
Nice ride.
To get any date of any bike I have ever seen is to just look at the frame and engine numbers that are stamped on those parts. Brake lines don't mean DIDDLY.
Just to lighten this conversation a little, take a look at this:

1986 Kawasaki 900
I do like the Trumpies but I have to be honest of the Bonnie/Scrambler/Thruxon I'd go for the Scrambler. They look kinda crap in pics but they are real nice in the flesh.
I'm after a Speed Triple R to accompany my Harley but it may have to be one or the other. I have just learned that there is a Triumph Dealer in Hat Yai so will check out my options soon.
I don't see any Speed triples on the website (Britbike) now. Anyone know if they have been discontinued in Thailand?
Lang may yer lum reek...
I will be looking at a 1999 Kawasaki 150 KRR that has been rebuilt tomorrow for a possible purchase. More for its rarity since I have not seen too many of these two stroke relics. They can keep up with any 250 and are fast for their size.
Anyone else had any experience with this bike, or even seen them in Thailand?
Holy shit. My bike has 2010 dated brake line on it.
Seeing as though it is now a 2010 bike its value has surely tripled.
Look what I just found...
Nice looking bike dirk
Fuck me I forgot what a pain in the ass the fucking gallery was.
tried to upload individual pics of my bikes. Fuckin' album rejected all but the group shot. So I tried again.
Fucking thing rejected the last photo. So here
My Garage as it sits this minute:
Clockwise from the upper left corner:
1998 FLRPI (Road King Police, Injected)
2006 Dyna Wide Glide (this one is so pretty I won't ride it. It's going on the block for $10,500)
2004 Soft-tail Std. (As you can see, the sheet metal is at the painters.)
Everything except the Road King is going on the block. When the Soft tail gets back together, I'll be reluctant to ride it as well. I put it in for a full on paint, color sand, decal and clear because it had about a half dozen rock chips. when I sell a bike it's gotta pop!
In a couple a weeks, maybe a month, the Road king come down for a complete rebuild, Re-wire, 4-5/8 stroke, 3-13/16 bore (106 Cu In) six speed in a five speed case, new injection system, Progressive rear shocks, Progressive cartridge inserts up front floated disks up front. I'm keeping her, no way I can get my money back on that.
In the far back you can see a '94 Low rider; runs great, she's gettin' a new belt tires and primary chain; Vivid Black paint & new decals then up for adoption, at a price.
These guys have been in my garage for a few weeks longer than I prefer, I've been busy. Just put a years rent down on a shop. Guess I'll see where this goes...
Frankie, I sent you a green, but I was very tempted to red you for affordability in USA against Thai prices.
Awesome stable mate.
My thought exactly Dirk, but the only saving grace for Thailand is the resale value. I just sold my Heritage Softail last year in the US for next to nothing. If that bike was here, it would have gone for close to 1M baht.
You will pay silly money for a Harley here in Thailand, but you can keep it for several years and then sell it for about what you originally paid for it new.

I got a sweet deal on mine, so would probably sell it for more. As my bike history goes in Thailand, I broke even on my Magna and 5k profit on my Virago.
Yep, resale value
Luigi, do you happen to know what years they are? Too bad they had to do away with 2 strokes due to their pollution. They were a very simple bike engine that gave more zip per cc than a 4 stroke that has more moving parts.
The new Yami 300 is a looker. A real Duck Panigale look alike.
A tad over 300cc twin cyl .. Plenty of lookers drooling over it at my local Yami dealer.
189,000b.
Not many good pics on google . I could post mine but untill TD makes I easy to post them I couldn't be fucked .
