Was my second bike (after my 250 cc learner bike). Only came in red and blue where I was living ATT.
Mine was Red ...
Was the heaps of chrome and the swept 4 into 1 pipes which sealed the deal.
For me, sort of like the early/mid 60's pony (mustang) ... timeless good looks.
What colour was yours?
David mine was yellow, secondhand and had to do a rebuild on it as it'd had a smash (got it cheap) - i regret selling it as its a great little bike to putter around on.

When I was working on a bike (crappy single pot 200 cc Kwaka) in London (as a courier) I hired a Honda V twin just the same as in the photo. VT 500
Without the rear box.
Loved the note, loved the low down torque ... just a good all-round package.
