Thread: Scratches

Of late I noticed scratches on my pick-up car doors and I knew of no way they could possibly get there. Anyways today I'm sitting outside and I can hear a strange sound coming from the car but I couldn't see anything on looking. Later the answer came to me when I saw birds flying into the glass and hanging onto the side windows rubber seals. When trying to secure a firm grip they slid down the door causing the scratches the FB's. I'm assuming that the bird sees another in the reflexional as being enemy and attacks.

Any DIY ways in stopping this vandalism?

Maybe put a moving blanket or cover for a period of time to break their cycle.

Lower the windows an inch, place towel on the top, close windows. Towel now covers all the window.

Unfortunately I'm going to have to cover 4 or 5 windows every time I come home and take the covers off every time I wanna go out?

Get a car cover. We've got this. Doesn't take long to put it up and take it down.

We have had small bird feeding of insects on the glass
