I got to 15kmh pretty quickly but then got scared so stuck to under 20 while I'm getting comfortable.

I Don't know the specs of the bike that you have, so please disregard this if you have a different set-up.

You have to be careful with these electric vehicles (especially if Chinese made).

From the looks of it, the motor is the rear wheel. In the wheel should be copper wires and magnets separated by a flimsy washer. If you ride hard or mistreat the bike, then the washer breaks and the wheel misaligns rendering it unrideable. Getting the magnet out is a royal pain in the arse and needs a decent workshop to extract it.

Easy enough fix though.

It's the same principle as the hoverboards you see about. Will look for a YT clip, so you can get an idea of what I'm on about.

Just wanted to give you a heads-up if something goes wrong, because this will probably be it.

Whizzed to the shops and back today.

Got up to 57kmh and it wasn't getting past it.

Very enjoyable ride. Made a bit off a video.

I'm not sure. There doesn't seem to be any laws about electric bikes from what I have researched. But I've got a Thai guy on it.

Armstrong have you tested how far the juice will get you and does it have a range meter on it..like 3 miles at 57kph?

It seems to be of the City Coco family, cp-4 is the best name I've come up with. But there's very little I can find out about it. Even the manual doesn't give a proper name for it. It's from China, obviously.

Gave a Thai guy 5k deposit and paid the rest of delivery so decided it was worth a punt.

It's a 200 bht Lazada special. Half face helmet apparently.

The battery went up and down as I was riding. But only by about 1km. It's meant to have 60km range and I'm never going to travel that far on it anyway.

Despite my pisstakery Armstrong i think its a right laugh, could do with a King and Queen seat to get your nipper or Mrs on the back - i reckon you could get a steel rib fibre glass under knocked up and get that uphostered for the seat.

A few of the Lambretta technicians are regulars in my wife's shop and 1 of them arrived at the shop with their new electric scooter.

I wasn't there but my mate took it for a drive and he commented the acceleration was fantastic and handling great.

Once they sought the batteries out the transport mode of the future IMO.
