You were driving too slow on that main road, especially when you pulled out,
There's no evidence there of you indicating in that video either.

2 offences in the uK but the dumb police don't even know the laws on this one.
You are in the wrong 100% ,, you must have lived driven here for long enough now , you know the Thai dumbfuk attitude of cannot wait 1 second so you would have seen / anticipated her coming past you .
Where we live nearly 95% of the time I have to make a right turn , this is on a long straight in pitch black with no markers ,, vehicles are really hammering up here ,, I always signal well in advance but the twatts will still come by ,, I know this and like you I know they are in the wrong BUT to save all the aggro I just let em come by even as I am turning .
I reckon you got off light.
Sorry if this sounds harsh ,, but you know the score in this place ,, normal logic goes out the window
I'm proud of my 38" waist , also proud I have never done drugs
So stop comparing to the States every time then. US laws do not apply here.Originally Posted by BobR
I will not bother to google Thai traffic laws because in every case the responsibility lies with the drivers involved.
There seems to be only one law that counts. As a driver it is your duty to avoid a collision. You can argue the toss later about the percentage of blame, unless you are a farang. in which case you will be 100% to blame, because a 14 year old Thai drunk, driving an illegal pick up with no tax or insurance, cannot possibly be to blame.
