Those rear tail lights are from a Jaguar. But I don't know which model.
^^ HW ... not Godzilla, and yes, they do go like stink.
My old boss had one. Blew one of the twin turbos.
Of course, had to upgrade them to the larger turbo.
Ceramic fans ... about USD 6,000 each ... and that was back some time ago.
Yep Barty ... it's a Jag, but which one?
^Early Dunny Door. Can't help with model number or year.
VL... Circa. '86 - '88
Interesting blend of East Meets West Meets East again there.
Aussie car in Thailand styled on a Japanese police pursuit model.
I never thought of the VL.
Then, you mentioned the commodore and I can see the eyelids (over the headlights) of the VL Calais

Very likely that particular one is running a Nissan RB30ET in it also. They came like that factory, bulletproof motor that you can squeeze some ridiculous horsepower from even on stock internals.
^ So close.
It's a F-Type Jag ... but it's a bit more special then that.
Well done :drive: ... hand that man a green.

In the clip below ... it's so Jag.
Brand new car, brilliant design, great feel, trade your gf in type looks.
Breaks down twice in two days ...

BTW ... what is the guy doing with the exhaust pipes and his hands?
Is it a 'thing' ?
I take that back, just seen another pic and I was wrong...

^No idea on that one. Looks like a cross between a 70's Rover and a 60's Citroen.
Half right, close enough...

I can never decide if they're gorgeous pieces of automotive art or ridiculous looking
Speaking of which...
