I'm in NZ, Wellington, till Friday, today these cars on display

The Citroën Traction Avant cars, which were in production from 1934 until 1957, were brought to Wellington by French car club Tractions Sans Frontiers.

The oldest of the 18 cars which were on display at Te Papa was built in 1939.

The cars have recently been on display in the South Island and have previously toured Thailand, Bolivia, Botswana, Namibia, Morocco, Croatia, Canada, Portugal, Scandinavia (in the Arctic Circle), Sardinia, and Ireland.

A little heritage interest, my grandfather held the first NZ import franchise for Citroen cars, as a youngster seemed every aunt and uncle drove one

I know it's not popular today, but I'd love a Citroën DS 23 ... the model which has 2 (of the 4) Headlights which turn as the steering wheel turns

I gave this one away last year on the condition I keep the blanket I bought down in Mexico twenty years prior. Seems I have the truck and blankets, all that changed was title. It still runs.....go figure.
