    ^ I don't know.

In side profile based on the Bonnet ornament it could be an Austin or a Wolsey.

The slotted, rectangular holes in the wheel look more Ford like.

The rear suicide doors are interesting.

Can I simply suggest, manufactured in the 1940's, maybe a Wolsey ?

    Warm?

Looper's car is a Toyota 2000 GT, 1967-70, there was one in a bad James Bond movie with Sean Connery. It was a special convertible because Connery could not fit in the coupe

    ^Yes indeed and full marks

The only 2000GT with a soft top. Made specially for 'You Only Live Twice'

The movie also features the heavily armed auto-gyro 'Little Nellie'

That little tin bike looks pretty cool Dave...

I did not know Lloyds had an Aussie auction site - and they seem to be based just 20km up the road in Carrara.

...actually looking at the the about page it is not the same company as Lloyds of London!

Still good to know - thanks.

MKI Escort is my best guess. Difficult to find cars with both front and rear quarter glass.

Actually, this was the one I was looking for which made me think of you ...

Mate, all the bidding on this stuff is on-line, no need to attend in person, just create an account.

    For above ... https://www.lloydsonline.com.au/LotD...&pgn=1&pgs=100

    I just got outbid @ $5

But, surely it can't be a Messerschmitt KR 200

Just used the box I presume.

I've bought a few things from there recently ... easy as.
    Anyway ... we digress.
