Yeah I try to be different. am looking to put on 2 small lights instead, sorta street fighter look.

That bike is an outdated chunk of shit! why are you fucking about with it?

Surely money spent on a new or later machine would be better spent ,which you could still customize and add your touch to.

There,s not really much you can do to the bike you have that would transform it from being a slow dog!.

Yes it is ... I just bought one of those off ebay a fortnight ago ... 69.00 aud .
The bikes in surin and im here for a few more days so havnt fitted it yet ..

I hope its bright enuff , the 55 watter on the 650 is piss poor so i thought a change was in order.

I have about 120k (baht) into this bike and can easily sell without a loss.

As for the slow dog quip. it does 160km/h. is there really a reason to go faster ? when I feel the need for speed I'll jump on the GSXR1000 that I also own.

Means to an end an a SR400 has nothing to do with how fast you can go.

Defo bright on high beam but is more of a pencil beam not a spread beam, no probs with seeing the road ahead, it is well lit up.

Slow dog quote as in its bound to be slow for a four hundred,dog as I think bikes like that are junk.

Is 160km/h quick for a modern 400?

I do agree there is no need to go any faster unless your on a track,so what,s the point in owning a GSXR1000 would it be just for show.

Bars done, 37mm Solid Ally.

look OK mate but the LEO & the gauges closer together would look a little better.

Lowered my front fender.

Fondles I see the drip tray do you have a small oil leak.
After they put the new piston in I had a oil leak.
I could not find where the oil was comming from, any waysi go & see a Thai Mechanic I know he look arould the bike .
Then he ask me is there a oring on 1 of the 3 bolts holding the oil filter cover.
There was no oring on that 1 bolt.
No oil leaks now.
