Up and over the Mountain to Turtle Beach

Well the plan today was to start at point A, go up to B, turn left, go over the canopy walkway and head to Point F, Pantai Kerachut Beach, where there's a Turtle Sanctuary.

So we got to the Canopy Walkway at 1.30pm only to find it closed for dinner and that it doesnt re-open until 2.30pm. So after contemplating the wait and the Chinese guy who fell 700 metres to his death on the one up the top of Penang Hill, we thought sod waiting for that to open, then walked back to near the start to go the other route.

Here's some of the creatures you can meet on the trail. You may have to zoom in to see. There's some interesting ones in there.

Both Nat, that's my son in front, he just wants to get to the beach at the other end and thinks I'm a tight fok for not paying for the boat
it's a great workout for your heart legs and lungs and lovely to be with one with nature and away from it all.

Right we are at the top of the hill now.

There are a lot of signs on trees, naming them and explaining their medicinal capabilities.

Wahey... The Missus is getting it tonight

^ Good idea, I'm already exhausted, just looking at the pics.

    Time for a nap now.

    Walking towards the turtle sanctuary

    There it is

    A little museum

Inside museum... Is that a dolphin ?

    Dead turtles

    Here's some hatchlings

    Eggs

The place was empty, maybe closed, As I walked behind that tree, there were a couple of Malaysians making love, that's their bedroom, the opening behind the tree. The guy started shouting, so I didn't get any pics

    Far end of the beach

    Looking back

The red flag is to warn of rip tides. If you zoom in you will see those pikeys swimming in there

    Pics from the pier

    Time to go back

    And, that's it
