Yellow House Book & the Single Guy???

I am asking if any of you guys are Single (not married but living with girlfriend) have obtained a Yellow House Book???

I bought the land, built the house, and I know that the book means nothing regarding my rights to anything, but would like it for registering vehicles, signing contracts with UBC/True, Internet Supplier and such...

All of the posts I can find about the Yellow Books are from Married Guys who state that their Marriage Paperwork is part of the required items...

Thank you in advance for any and all information...

I'm pretty sure that you have to be married, was required paper work.

Go down to the Amphur with your gf and ask them. Can't hurt. Maybe slip 'em some money, you know how things work...

I have a yellow Tapien Baan and I am married but this might help.
When I got mine the Amphur explained that I had to show that I was committed to living in Thailand.
Obviously marriage/kids is good evidence but not the only acceptable one.
If you have lived here for a few years and maybe made investments here and can show that you have put down roots here then with a helpful amphur it should be doable.

I don't think it is a vital requirement.
If a single farang buys a condo here then he gets a yellow book I think

I went to the Amphur and checked, they told me that I had to have the headman go in and verify that I had lived in the village and caused no problems, I did that and he went, and I was told to come in and pick up my book..
But I am also married but I don't remember as that being part of it..

I have lived here for 4+ years, and have made many Thai freinds including a high ranking police officer, a Bank Manager, various buisness owners and a Doctor... Hopefully several of them will be willing to step up and vouch for my character...

I will be going in next week to see how it goes...

    Thank you for the responses..
