Mendip's current thread on his commute back to work strayed into a discussion on watches and taking of etc. Rather than continue on that thread, though I'd drop this here.
This particular watch (Cartier Roadster chronograph) I've had for around 15 years, and apart from giving it a scrub occasionally never take it off. It hasn't been serviced during that time either, and remains remarkably accurate (it's a mechanical/self winding movement). However, whilst the glass face is as new, the stainless steel case and bracelet have multiple scratches, which I would like to some how polish out, either professionally or diy.
Any thoughts/suggestions?
