I am pretty certain that the Arlo does not tilt and pan , and that once it is set up it is static. In My US home I have installed a couple of indoor cameras that do tilt , pan and have the capacity to follow a moving object , though I have disabled the "follow" command because it was annoying . It is a Wyze and they were very inexpensive at $37 each , the have an optional rubber case that rendered them waterproof for exterior use.You can get reviews of them on Youtube and search for them on Amazon and Lazada Thai. The App for the smart phone was easy to download and they were easy to set up. (set up instructions on Youtube also)
The sooner you fall behind, the more time you have to catch up.
We don't have the solar panel add-on, other than that's the kit. Yes, it is a bit pricey . . . but I'm sure there are others out there that do a similar job. When we were searching, to be fair i was my wife as I was in Malaysia at the time, we found either the siren to be not loud enough, recording or wifi issues not acceptable . . . etc . . .
I think you can also get this with just two cameras - they do have very wide angles if you don't really need four
Anyone know what this cute bird is?

Yum, looks nice.
Ok, came across this (so to speak) on a hike a few weeks ago in the north-east of the South Island . . . didn't seem to have a fight/flight reaction as we were hiking within a few feet of it and it didn't look perturbed.

Was it the west side of the north east of the south Island?
If so it is probably an African Swallow. Did you find coconut halfs laying about nearby?
Is it a weka?
(A flightless bird species of the rail family)
Indeed . . . almost all birds are flightless here . . . made it easy for the Maori to almost rid the land area of protein.
It's an angry looking thing - I think we were lucky to get away with our limbs intact. Not small either - a big chicken-size, possibly a bit bigger but with long-arsed legs and claws of death.
Larry meet Moe . . . I'm sure Curley will prop by soon
. . . everyone's a comedian these days
We have some of these in the park bordering us, the Tui:
