If some say Lin means pour, is there no other word meaning the same thing?

เท also means to pour, as in pour out

and ราด, which is more pour onto,

also ใส่, which is pour in.

and dont forget ลาด as in water (the plants)

Crab apple- ผลแอปเปิ้ลป่า (pǒn ɛ̀ɛp-bpə̂ən bpàa)

BTW: always use "เท" for pouring liquids, especially drinkable ones; tea, coffee, beer, wine, whiskey etc.

Just one more FYI; you better "adjust your ears there a little "SpamInCan"..

The word you wrote as "lin" is actually "ริน" (rin) and starts with an (R) NOT a frickin' (L)..

    "เท" suits almost all situations

    like "เทน้ำ" "ลงแก้ว" >>> "pour water" "into a glass"

"Bettyboo" Are you sure someone isn't taking the piss telling you the word for pour is ขี้ (shit) or ขี่ (ride)?

I have Googled around, but have yet to find a word for 'pour' in thai which even remotely sounds or looks like what ever thai word "keey" is supposed to represent...

Now it could be an Isaan word (N/E thailand), or a Lanna word (N/W thailand), but I can't find it.

How about jumping a link or better yet having a thai type the word out for you.

Of course it goes without saying that I have never been accused of being the sharpest tool in the shed either...
