A friend suggested there's a terrific on-line course Thaipod101.com and when I looked it over, it asked for my credit card and a $1 fee to cover bandwith(sounds suspicious). I'm reluctant to give them my credit card info. Does anyone have any experience, directly or indirectly, with this website? Are they legitimate?

I am suspicious of any site that wants my email address before explaining exactly how it works.

Anything that is legit should be open and forthcoming.

How about watching the videos they have on their You Tube channel;
ThaiPod101 You Tube

It would appear that you'd at least get an idea if they way they're teaching thai gels with the way you learn things...

Also a brief Google of "ThaiPod101" shows several sites which have reviews on their method and their program (some are duplicates and others seem like they're written just to hype the product, but I don't really know)..

It also shows they have apps available in both android and at the i-store too.

As I said, I dunno if it's any good or not, but even a half-assed internet search should set you straight.

Plus what's up with the whacky font color you used for your post. I almost didn't bother to read it as the contrast with the background is so sucky..
