If I wanted to post a link, it would be a big long Url, but some people wot are more cleverer than me are able to change this Url to a simple message or word - the word is usually here and that word becomes the link.
What gives?

[ url= www.some web site.com]here[/url ]
without spaces.
Ok I'll try -

Hasn't worked - I don't want a long thing, just to be able to condense it into a single word.
I click on the little globe icon between the 'A' and the picture URL option and it makes no difference... I need instructions, or even better - a link to instructions.
"I'm an outsider by choice, but not truly. It's the unpleasantness of the system that keeps me out. I'd rather be in, in a good system. That's where my discontent comes from: being forced to choose to stay outside.
My advice: Just keep movin' straight ahead. Every now and then you find yourself in a different place."

Another way of doing it (with external links) is to highlight the text (for example "Here") and then click on the insert-link icon (the blue globe), next to the insert-img icon.
Cheers S - will try.
