i suffer slightly from asthma, is ventolin freely available in los or should i stock up?

Do you take any other meds for your condition? I've been told I have asthma and have been prescribed with meds which I feel don't help. I want to stop taking them as I feel I can live with my condition without meds. Any thoughts ?
