    Bugger + bugger.

OD'ing on that Folic Acid (Vit B9) I bought today which apparently is a brain boosty thing. Noticed the effect within an hour. Will continue to take that in unsafe quantities for a few days. I feel it should be cleared up. Still a bit cloudy upstairs, but the feeling of the ol' thinker sitting in a solution of chemicals is almost gone after 3 days of it.

Hopefully back to the Log in me Exercise thread tomorrow morning with a 30 or 40km ride to a church to see if I can take back me pledge to become teetotal.

Hope you start feeling better soon Edmond. Your initial symptoms sound just like how my Dengue Fever started. Do you have a rash on your back or anywhere else? The pain will go to your bones soon if it is Dengue, so don't rule that out in just yet.

Let's just say that the metal skeleton-claw scratcher I bought on Lazada a few weeks ago for scratching my nu..... back, is down to the knuckles.

Hope you are back to your old self soon. I second the idea of getting a check up at a decent hospital

go to a doc - it'll probably be nothing, male menopause, genetic weakness or maybe a glioblastoma (joking).
get the usual bloods - blood sugars, cholestrol cardio risk, liver - kidney function, thyroid?

stop taking handfuls of foli acid - unless you're gonna have a baby soon.
    Harden the fuck up.

Amino acids, started taking them after my 4th or 5th covid, when my brain was in a total fog and body felt stiff, really helped and I still take them fairly regularly. Not saying its a cure and for sure it sounds like you really need a full check up, but if your body needs repair you need amino acids and you probably don't get enough in your food.

I second (or 3rd) the suggestion of going to the doctor or having a full check-up (with bloodwork, etc). I think you're in your 40s now - that's when some symptoms/ ailments will show, depending on your genes & lifestyle. Even if you eat healthy & exercise well, there are still unknown factors like chemicals in your food, your chemical/ alcohol intake, pollutants in the air, etc.

Some years ago, I experienced some chest pains: slicing, stabbing & crushing. I went to the doc (who was my dad's cardio doc), given that I have family history of heart disease & diabetes, Doc ordered a heart ultrasound and they found out that I may have a slight problem with my mitral valve. During that time, I increased my exercise levels & the problem went away.

However, sometimes I lapse (in the food or exercise dept - I'm only human) and sometimes I have these palpitations again. They're my wakeup call that I should exercise more.

    ******

@Eddie-Lulu - go to a doctor, have yourself checked. You're not in your 20s anymore. You've also had covid, so long covid may also be a factor. Good luck.

Well honestly, Lu I thought that this was a thread to gather more attention being nobody was looking or responding to that "WorkOut" thread.

And a quick neurological exam. It is simple and done in a doctor’s office.

Turn on, tune off, log out.

Get tested as suggested then go sit next to a pool/beach for a week. No exercise, no Luluing, no excessive drinking/eating, two hand massages only.

Just when you think you're out of the woods.

Last night and this morning was fine. In bed before 11:30pm, up at 6:30am as normal, croissant and 1 coffee instead of two (I don't believe coffee intake has anything to do with it tbh). Fine for the early morning. Felt normal again.

Then it creeps up and hits.

    A big heavy brain fog.
Mild sense of disorientation, and dizziness.
All things cognitive and memory shot to shizz.
A sense of doom, like one may pass out, go crazy, or it might be forever, slightly increased heartbeat as a result, a fear of it not clearing.
An odd sense that mind and body are disconnected and that I'm looking out through a window, or through someone else's eyes
No interest in anything social, and a feeling that meeting and talking with people would be akin to a normal day if one crushed up a ketamin pill and snorted it, then went out to meet people.

Took my 5mg Folic Acid and B12 vitamin pill and decided not to cycle but went for a 20 minute 1.6km walk, the folic acid definitely seems to clear it a good bit an hour or so later.

Ordered Khao Tom (rice soup with some grated ginger, coriander and pieces of sliced chicken breast) delivery, will get some into me as me stomach is still a bit knotted, and probably go to bed for the day with the curtains drawn and the aircon at 16c and see how I feel around lunchtime.
