Joe A mate of mine many years ago, was a bodybuilder in competitions he used to make a smoothie from raw eggs, liver and Bananas. fek it smelt atrocious, but he had the perfect V, give it a try.
I try to get at least a gram of protein per pound per day, so ~225g per day- it's tough to get all that protein from whole-food sources due to the time it takes to digest it, especially beef and pork sources. I've been eating more fish (salmon is a good deal at Makro) and chicken breast (which are easier to digest), but even that is a lot to eat to get the amount of protein I'm seeking daily- whey protein shakes (a great deal on 10lbs is around 2K on Lazada, but you can always find it under 3K- that's around 125 scoops of ~25g, so it lasts me about two months at two scoops per day- with about 8oz of non-fat milk, I get close to 35g) work well in that they're digested quickly (I feel like they're completely digested in about hour)- if you want to do the 'six meals per day' deal, adding a couple protein shakes as meal-replacements is essential. Granted, you have to create the need for it, and that's done in the gym. If you don't have cholesterol issues and you have access to ones that are safe to eat raw, eggs are also a terrific protein source and great to toss into your shaker, and cheap as well- a large egg has ~6g.
There he goes. One of God's own prototypes. A high-powered mutant of some kind never even considered for mass production. Too weird to live, and too rare to die.

Yikes!
Anyways just remember that supplements are just that--to supplement not replace and they don't have any magical properties.
You are always better off getting it from natural sources.
No harm in a good protein powders to fill the gaps though. That and creatine are probably the only two worth bothering with in my opinion.
Yeah, I take 5g per day of creatine as well- I just got a kilo of the Scitech brand for 935bt shipped from Lazada, which is the cheapest I've seen it in LOS.
Might have to check that out, was just looking for Dymatize the other day and it’s sold out everywhere.
Covid related supply chain issues I guess.
It was on the 'Lazada Mall' section- they have a Scitech page- I also got 2350g of their casein powder for 2100bt shipped, which was a great deal for it (it usually runs over double the price of whey). Prices for supplements have been 10-20% higher than usual the last couple months- before the current supply issues, every once in a while I'd see 10lbs of Dymatize or Baam or Optimum Nutrition whey for just under 2K- it's been over a year since they were that low- 2300bt is a good deal now, and I didn't see anything less than 2700bt today. The Scitech brand has been the only outlier.
Edit- Sorry, the creatine is currently sold out- SCITEC NUTRITION Creatine Monohydrate 1000g (Creatine)
It may be offered again when they restock- the listing says 500 units were sold.

Back to it Monday after the Xmas and New Year tsunami of calories and sofa snoozes.
abs, triceps delts n pecs post-coffees pre-breakfast.
Pre-lunch 40km ride at 25kph+
Ballet dancing pre-dinner.
Just got this spammed at me in case anyone is interested:
GoGood Grass-fed Whey Protein Powder Vanilla Flavor
Grass-fed protein powder. Little pricey but looks ok, I'd give it a crack but just ordered a 10lb bag so not much use right now.
Looks like nice quality but, yeah, on the pricey side- it works out to a bit over 7K for 10lbs. What did you end up buying? I need to get some in the next week or so, and the best I've seen for 10lbs of whey (Baam! brand) is 2700bt shipped.
I like the ON brand as well- there was also a time when you'd see it for 2500bt or even less for 10lbs (a few years ago, but not that long). I look at BAAM!, Dymatize, ON, and a couple other 'name' brands, and buy the best 10lb deal. Sometimes there'll be a deal on a 5lb size that makes it worth buying, but not this week.
I got this stuff:
Tastes a bit like Caramac chocolate.
Robot or human?
Am I doing it wrong?
Gonna go with Snubby and put this away again until February
I only paid about 40 quid for that bag I think about a year ago
How many kilos Dill?
I done some arm work today.
6 sets
40 reps alternating bicep curls (20 each arm) with 8kg dumbbells
15 reps Benchpress (I'll have to check the weight as it's pretty much everything i have)
40 reps lawnmowers (20 each arm) with 8kg Kettlebell
I do everything slowly to get the benefit of both directions.
Then I jumped on my training bike and done an FTP test which was a killer. 45 mins in total, about 18km uphill with a brutal warm up then 20 mins all in balls out.
Nearly died.
Lang may yer lum reek...
That was a very unusual afternoon workout.
Did me morning cycling.
Lunch.
Just started me first set of afternoon abs, biceps and back, and got a message inviting me to a gangbang.
So instead of my upperbody work out I spent the afternoon praying for their souls instead.
Tiz a funny ol' World somedays.
Someone was telling me about his high intensity workout on his training bike, apparently it burns fat for up to 48 hours afterwards.
2 minutes cycling at a medium pace then 20 seconds sprint giving it everything then do the same again 7 times.
That's his cardio workout ,might try it myself soon.
Shalom
I'm using Zwift, which is like an open world of Cyclists and Runners, and you can see them in the 'game'. If someone overtakes you it encourages you to give it a bit more and you can get a bit of a race on. There are all sorts of routes in cities around the world or their own futuristic setting called Utopia. There are many compatible devices, from actual training bikes to the ones you can fix your own bike to. I splashed out for the Wahoo Kickr bike, it wasn't cheap at 120k baht but you cant find 2nd hand ones anywhere so it will hold it's value very well. I have programmed my own bike's dimensions and gear setup so it's the same on my machine. I have been doing these ramp tests and FTP tests to establish my own FTP so that the machine can provide the correct resistance on the flywheel to match my strength, weight etc. This comes into play when cycling uphill or downhill etc. My machine also tips forward and back depending on the gradient. It's a better setup for me because I don't want to fuck around using my own bike and removing the back wheel back and forth for indoor and outdoor cycling. Both of them ready to go at any time.
You can log in and find a route to suit your preference according to location, overall distance, max elevation etc. Or you can just go for a free ride. Ride with your mates etc.
Then there are all kinds of tests and training workouts, as you've mentioned above.
Getting back into it.
Daily 8am bike ride starts being shifted to 7am starts from tomorrow.
