You normally take whey protein after a workout not after a cup of coffee at 7am.
Creatine might be better depends on your workout regime i used both but was training hard at the time.

^ A sugary caffiene drink an hour or two before the run?
Wot's that L-carnitine stuff that Cujo and Little Dilly Flouncy Poos were impulsively throwing their money at?
Yeah nah... expensive and not effective in my opinion.Originally Posted by Luigi
The only two proven and worthwhile supplements are protein powder and creatine, three if you include a good multi-vitamin.
A few others fall into the 'harmless and might as well if you have the spare cash' such as BCAA's but the rest are just marketing tosh and a waste of time and money.
Another fashionable health thread, gents?
OK. Fair enough.
.......
If you are just jogging to keep in shape you don't need protein.
That On Whey is good but not as good as Reflex, which is 80% protein, and a steal at half the price of ON if you know where to look
73 servings... says on the lable ken.
I'm offshore and take creatine every day 30 mins before the gym. Cardio then weights. I drink BCAAs while I'm in the gym. I also take these if I have a rest day.
When I'm onshore and go cycling, up mountains, I take a pre-workout called mesomorph (rocketpop flavour) and holy fuck it's like edible meth, gets me over the new Songkhla Zoo road in 5 minutes while shouting and swearing profanities at myself. Good stuff.

Lang may yer lum reek...
not interested in looking like a muscle man, though like building muscles by lifting weights and swimming everyday.
i use whey protein isolate after working out and casein (slower release) at night before bed.
it's healthier to get protein that way than eating a lot of meat, IMO.

Rocketpop, nuff said.
If you go on Ebay you can still find the old recipe with the now banned DMAAs in it. It costs double (no longer in production) but oocha, only really recommended for blood sports and debt collection.
^^ That came up as something similar to that mesomorph (rocketpop flavour), but may be completely different.
You should be looking at stuff that's gonna stop you getting sand kicked in your face by people like Simon43 on Bangsaen Beach, mate.
Lasts forever cos you only need half a scoop
I bought it from the states and came straight to my door. I think I found a BOGOF deal.
That stuff is mainly caffeine, 330 grams of the 388 in that in fact. Also creatine which you don't need
Get yourself a double espresso and save yourself the dosh
I've got a mate that snorts a line of it every time he's round my gaff.
I like the way it says naturally and artificially flavored on the tub
Have you tried unflavoured drugs? They're disgusting.
