I woke up two days ago and there was definitely something wrong with my arse. That night the burning and the itching was awful so dragged myself to a clinic where I've got pills and cream.
It's ruining one of my favourite hobbies of sitting.
Thankfully never been so afflicted but mate of mine has and it's apparently a bit shit (apologies for the shit pun there too) so my sympathies.
I went and got some long white capsules from the pharmacist and for all the good they did I may as well stuck 'em up me arse.
Yeah, Cyrille might have a point here. Reduce the processed stuff and get more fruit and fibre into your diet.
Without wishing to come over all PB "me me me," I've been on tablets for acid related problems in my stomach, but I never really felt on top of it until I found a diet that worked.
I take a product called “Benefiber” A tasteless white powder that can be added to tea, coffee, cereal almost anything. Pretty cheap and available at most chemists and the odd supermarket. Not sure about Thailand, like a good Boy Scout I go everywhere prepared.
Saves you having to make special drinks etc.
I am now 100% A ok in the ass department.
I will never forget the pain - surgeon told me it was the most painful op they do - he wasn’t joking!
Your symptoms Armstrong sound suspiciously like mine. Ever had an itchy ass standing in the pub? Tends to get you at night while lying in bed especially if you’ve had a drink. Beer that’s the fuckin’ problem - Get on that bloody fibre.
...agree: any kind (from an unsweetened cereal like bran or regular intake of fruit and veggies)...a friend suffering from 'rhoids was told by his doctor that bran taken in any form softens the stool and plants a kiss on the affected areas in passing...the doctor was right...and keep hydrating...
Majestically enthroned amid the vulgar herd
^ That's easy for you to say....you get yours pushed in.
All this talk of hemorrhoids is making me clench... May well contribute to causing my own.Originally Posted by Iceman123

..... and without a dedicated ethical doctor, one that keeps his knowledge up to date rather than relying on what he learnt at med school 20 years ago, looking after your interests first as opposed to the hospitals interest or looking after his own financial interests, then you might as well be in any back street clinic.
it is relatively easy to research the qualifications and experience of the docs working in the larger private hospitals and make an informed choice, rather than letting the appointments receptionist make that choice for you.
Yep, no argument from me. I was referring more to the quality of the surroundings and care factor.
try india.you can check their cost against thailands.as for thailand there wont be any difference in goverment doctors most work in the private sector.i have heard good reports about india.
Grapes of Wrath, the condensed version by Iceman is a cracker read.
