Balls make testosterone. Testosterone makes prostate cancer grow faster. Standard treatment for advanced prostate cancer.
Exactly right my friend.
I like the Queens Hospital in Sattahip. You wait for ages to see the Doctor but he is free!. You only pay for treatment and medication.
It seems that almost all the invasive treatments for Prostate Cancer have such bad side effects it is often best to do nothing!
It is a very slow form of Cancer and you, if you are an old git like me, are likely to die of a Heart attack or something else, before IT kills you.
Sounds very iffy to me. Chances are if your "cancer" was so advanced as to need to remove your testicles, you'd be feeling pretty bloody rotten in yourself, generally.
What tests were done (by both doctors)? Cancer markers? Ultrasound? What were the injections for life? From the price it sounds like possibly chemotherapy, but that isn't how chemotherapy regimes are administered (over a lifetime period). Was radiotherapy mentioned? Did the doctor who mentioned cancer do other tests to check for metasteses (secondary cancers)? If they thought your "cancer" was that advanced, that should have been standard procedure, also.
Makes you wonder whether care or profit are the primary concerns in some places, doesn't it?
