Thread: Lower Cost Health insurance policies

If you were looking for one of the lower health insurance policies which whould you choose and why? I am looking at eg Thai Health Simply Healthy SP2000 @ 7,320B or Bupa Sapphire @ 7,391B. Thai health is 200,00 max coverage, Bupa is 300,000. Bupa has lower benefits for room, surgery general if you go over they pay 80% up to the policy limit and Bupa has no PA death benefit TH has 100,000 I know the levels are quite low but its better than nothing and I don't need to be treated in in a top hospital. Don't need a life insurance policy. Thanks.

Cheap and good insurance do not exist I think ?

I will buy medical repatriation insurance (about US$650 per year). If it needs hospitalization they will fly you back home.

Like to see that policy, betting it's not medical evacuation cover [air ambulance] just a nurse on a commercial airline. No good if you are in ITU or can't fly.

OP, look into registering at your local Thai hospital, 2,000 Baht a year, not the best treatment, but you'll get a bed.
