I've just been for an easy 5 mile run in 41 minutes - my last run this year.

Last year I ran a total of 1,000 miles.

This year I managed a 33.5% increase on that figure: 1335 miles for 2018.

Here's to even more miles in 2019.

    Well done.

Just checked and according to a tracker I've done 660km since I started at the end of May.

^^ The cadence and stride length seem a bit out compared with the time per km, Luigi. Either you have very long legs and walk strangely or the default settings are wrong. I usually walk (briskly) with a cadence of about 120 spm and run with over 160. If you're walking, I think your cadence should be doubled and your stride length halved. Waddaya think?

I think you care a lot more than I do.

Distance and time match 2 apps I use simultaneously. Which is really all I look at.

    (I don't have a fitbit, btw )

Today....A quick 20Km bike ride today. I need to develop a few more routes to keep it interesting. I do however now have my Spotify acct set up and been using the new Jabra Elite active 65T wireless earbuds. Pretty slick set up and they fit under my motorcycle helmet and connect to my Samsung TV.

I'm just back from my first run of the year - a nice 10km /6.25 mile run at a relaxed pace in 50m 36s. I'm happy with that.

But you're not doing so badly, considering the horrendous hippo physique you're laboring around.

You'll be upping those daily Km in no time.

Kinda started around March last year, did 2km the first day and 4 km the 2nd day. Was absolutely foked. Covered in sweat, needed to stop off for banana chips and lemon soda (the only things available) immediately after. Then gradually more and more. Just short of 8km today, no sweat, no panting, just normal. Home and upperbody sets in the gym before lunch. Feeling great.

Good luck with it bud. TD Triathlete 2020.
