Lost the money paid for the fight camp after me massive mental meltdown.

    First 30km-er in weeks.

    Very slow n steady Eddie.

Fancied some bacon, knew there was some 'Canadian Style' in the villa, but had no idea if it was still in date or 3 weeks out of date.

Some days are just your days.

Cooking QC and presentation aren't so important after 1.5 hours of cycling/holding up the cars stuck behind you.

I guess I didn't report back on my mini-triathlon. I'd wrote it off as I was meant to go offshore, but that fell through at the last minute so I was committed and untrained.

I aimed to beat 2 hours.

    400m swim - 17:12 mins

    Transition 1 - 02:24 mins

    20km cycle - 52:02 mins (Mountain Bike)

    Transition 2 - 01:16 mins

    5k run - 33:19 mins

    Total time - 01:46:12

I went back 2 days later and repeated the 5km run. 29:46 for my first sub 30 mins 5k run. I was angry that day though.

The 118 costume never arrived and got refunded, so I was in my finest IRN-BRU getup.

    ^Huh? Not quite!

^^Congrats for going back and beating your 5km run time.. and the mini triathlon considering you didn't get to train much for it.

We have black bears, but they are normally scared of people and mostly come out at night I believe. We don't see wolves or cougars around here. The paths are well travelled and we see a lot of squirrels and birds mostly. The odd deer as well.

No, I've never carried a gun in my life. I talk with my friend as bears don't come around if they hear noise.. I sometimes am scared as where my friend lives there have been bear sightings at night, and even a bear that came to my friends patio door once. She lives near a national park (almost in her backyard) and has a bird feeder in her backyard. Bears also like to eat bird feed apparently.

If I lived in the west of Canada and was walking on the trails there like Banff national park/Alberta I'd be more scared as there you have grizzly bears, cougars, and wolves. I've seen on tv/youtube bears come out onto the highway and maul bikers and run on the road. There is a highway between Banff and Jasper that is very scenic, but there have been many bear sightings along there.

Have started adding some extras to the routine. Chest dumbbell flies, and leg raises.

    1 minute skipping
    triceps - pulldowns.
abs - ab crunches with weights
    delts - shoulder presses
    pecs - bench presses
    lower abs - leg raises
    middle chest - dumbbell flies.

    x 5 sets.

    Upperbody sesh later, pre-evening BBQ.

Decided to switch up the morning legs/cardio sesh for 10k of 'indoor running' while finishing e4 of Beckham.

light n easy, an easy way to break a sweat n burn 6ookcal while loosening up ze pegs on a Monday morn.

Should look at getting the 10k down to sub 1 hour when taking it a bit more seriously in the near future.

And when I saw Mendy was last one to log in, there was no way it was to add a work out update.

But Ol Dil sure is a funny guy.

I was actually giving it thought to add my weeks activity review then... well. I walk to the fridge to grab a beer.

But I did average 18,240 steps per day. 214 active minutes per day, 6.2km a day bike rides ( that's round trip to the coffee shop). Lost 2.2kgs last week. All reported by Samsung health app and watch but I have no idea how accurate.

Let me add if I may, I drank 19 beers, had 9 cocktails.

    I say it's a wash.

Yeah I don't do the Meme Net stuff. That I leave to others more capable.

I will see if I can program a pool pic in my Samsung Health app. I think you can do a profile pic.

Additionally might I add, that 64.2% of my active time was in what they identify the "Aerobic" heart rate level. Of course that could be because I am going to have a stroke. Who knows. Is it safe to jog with a beer versus some FooFoo water Lavendar tea?
