^ You need tubeless tyres as much as you need Gears on that bike, mate
Good job, Dirk and Edmond... faster time will come over time.
Last night did 45 min walk/job - starting to get back to jogging.
Night before - 1 hr body sculpt class with weights
Today - 1 hr hatha yoga
Also down 14 pounds. Low carb, low calorie diet.
Come rain or shine I do 42 lengths every morning at around 06:00 hrs, Monday to Friday.
And today it was of course pissing it down. But the rain doesn't matter in the water.
Front crawl (or free style as they now seem to call it).
AND breast stroke.
But you've gotta be fast... blink and you've missed me.
^^ Is another unusual body part of yours gills?
Another masterbathe session logged in
I'm sure there's an app for it somewhere.
When I was swimming regularly a 25 metre pool was 20 full strokes.
You're about the same height so maybe that could be an indication of the distance swam.
I'm pretty sure Dill gets more strokes in than most on here with the exception of Hal
Shalom
^ Hark at Romeo here.
You've had more strokes than the Thorpedo this year
^ i get the impression Chitty's dominatrix is the one stroking
Yup, single life rocks!
Did a two hour hike today amongst the fall colored leaves.
Down 20 pounds now!
Clothes looser, starting to get compliments.
I've decided to do a Spartan Event in Phuket in November.

They've sent me a 4 week training plan to prepare.

^That's really cool. Someone I know quite well who runs a Muay Thai camp in Hua Hin has done a few of them.
I used to see them training in the same gym I was doing Muay Thai/body weight training etc.
It isn't for the faint of heart. I have seen his pics! Good luck, Dirk.
I can put you in touch with him if you want to talk to someone who has done it before.
I've often wondered about this.
I spent my entire life calling it 'lengths' when I swim up and down a pool. When I lived in Australia everyone called it 'laps', same as you MM... so is that what everyone calls it in Canada as well?
Surely if you swim up and down it should be called lengths but if you swim round and round the perimeter then it could be called laps?
Yes, we do call it 'doing laps' when we swim 'lengths' as you call it. I believe the Brits do call it lengths from what I remember.
In regards to the step thing converting to laps? Do you have a fitbit? Some watches have swimming as an activity, or you can put it to the cardio activity if you don't have the swimming activity.
I have 'pool swim' when I click the right button as an activity on my watch. I use it a lot. It tells me my distance/calories/time when doing laps.
Thanks MM, I also have friends who have done it before.
There's a 5k 20 obstacles sprint and a Super 10k 25 obstacles, which I reckon with just be a 5k, 5 obstacle extension to the 5k Sprint, so I'll probably go for that one.
It's on the weekend of 26/27 Noveber at a water park in Phuket, entry is 2,200 or 2,400 respectively for the Open, non competitive time slots.
Lang may yer lum reek...
^Prepare to get muddy and tired! I have a cousin who does these races in Canada along with his young kids. Wicked!
