Thread: Dog-Attack: Red mark on the leg

Ive been attacked by dogs, about 4 months ago, and still have some dark red circle mark on the leg, where one of the bite-wounds was...

it doesnt seem to get smaller nor larger... but it should be gone by now?
somewhere around the center is a tiny white dot, maybe 1mm high...

is this sepsis ?

If it is painful or oozes pus, then it is probably still infected. Otherwise, it probably is just scar tissue.

If I were you, I would either sterilize a needle and lance it to see if there was any signs of infection, or just go to a clinic (safes choice).

If you decide to lance it, smell the needle afterward, even if there is no pus. If it smells rotten or otherwise has a strange order, definitely go to the doctor.

If I was bit by a dog in Thailand, I would definitely get rabies shots. Rabies can lie dormant for up to six months!

Given that only a complete imbecile would not take their rabies vaccination after a dog bit... we can assume its not a little nodule of rabies growing and getting ready for your brain.

Bite wounds ?, Dog ?, Thailand ? - 4 months back.
Fcuking hell, i'd have been down the nearest hosser assuming you was on foot as soon as i could get there.
I got attacked by a dog 2 yrs. back in Pattaya just minding my own business and got a pack around me, got past them then 1 charged and barged me in my upper back, very strange but i shit myself and then the local motorcyle lads came off their seats and kicked the dogs away frome me.
If not for them i reckon i would have been savaged and even now cannot see a soi dog without a slight wobble.
I still feel bad for fcuking off asap without tipping those brave guys nicely.
