I was living on them while we were getting our house renovated. I do not want to see another one for a while however.

The yellow bottle is mayo (ersatz) not mustard. I am not in the sticks. Catsup, chili sauce and mayo - no mustard.

Frankly, this whole mustard snobbery distraction is ridiculous. In the US we have a huge amount of shelf space devoted to all kinds of mustards. Why limit the varieties? Yellow mustard is for hot dogs and picnics. There is a market for it. French mustard is great with ham, German is great with sausages. I love Grey Poupon mustard and other French mustards but a chili dog is not the same without good old yellow mustard.

given the thread topic , stretching it any way possible will be required lest it falls to a unspectacular demise .

I knows its straying off topic a bit this mustard thingy but for what its worth , before my wife came to the UK she had never tasted mustard before and the only one I had in my cupoard when she arrived was some of that French crap which being part of her need to satisfy / substitute the Thai chilli way of life was a small comfort to her ,, then I got some English strong mustard for her to try which she loves , BUT only puts copiously on her ,,,,fish + chips ,,,,,,,bless her , she,s happy
I'm proud of my 38" waist , also proud I have never done drugs

    Two Danish options. You decide:

Of course, they don't always age well:

Hot English mustard is bloody HOT! Not like your regular mustard. I found that one out by mistake.
Different from the bight of chillies. It tends to get up your nose and stay there as well as burning your mouth.

Your right there Panda ,, well the supermarket branded ones tend to be a bit sissy but the old originals like Colemans do pack a punch , I,ve even seen the wifes chilli lined nose drippin from it , mind u she has learned to spread it thinly on her fish + chips now ,, I remember the first time she made us Marmite on toast , she put it on like chocolate spread , she ate it and said kem mak !!!!!!!! mine went in the bin

In the states, pigs in blanket usually refers to pork sausage wrapped with a pancake. It does sound tasty though, hotdogs wrapped in bacon, they should make bacon it's own food group imho.

I the UK "Pigs in blankets" could also be reffering to a couple of Welsh girls camping.

    Thai Hotdogs Review

This has taken a long time coming but I noticed they are nearly at their sell by date, obviously with these hotdogs I tried to recreate the real American experience, in most States in America they have bylaws stating that any snack dish must contain at least 3,500 calories per portion, this is why we don't see poor starving skinny people on the street, but also why you most likely don't want to be sitting on a plane next to your average super sized American, sadly I couldn't manage this and if I had been working in an American fast food outlet I would probably be serving jail time.

On opening the packet I noticed each hotdog has it's own protective plastic cover which is covered in grease or fat, got to admit it was pretty horrible and I had to wash the gunk off my hands after finally getting the covers off, 1 minute in the microwave on high I had 2 what looked like double ended penises, wonder why hotdogs do that, even a bell end on each end, design fault maybe or maybe it appeals to the American market.

To make this the real deal I even bought some American mustard, I believe Frenche's brand is the best, they have been using the same secret recipe for over 100 years and it still tastes crap, although I don't mind it on American chips or English crisps.

    Anyway here she is.

European roll to add flavour, note a few pats of lurpak butter to boost calorie content, sadly at less than 1,000 calories I failed miserably, although I should add that these hotdogs were as good as anything 7/11 serves up, I couldn't eat 2 in one sitting at 7/11 and I couldn't eat 2 of these, infact I had trouble finishing this one.
