Marmers says that if I cook her up barbecue smothered in Cattlemans sauce, potato salad, and pinto beans she will just pick at it though. Is that true GOW?
I'm actually lucky enough to have a Thai wife that prefers foreign food.
She is especially fond of baked beans on toast, carbonara and of course my special chili.
I'll keep it as a secret.
Mine used to prefer my cooking as well. But ever since pregnancy and kids she has preferred jungle food, nam plicks, all kinds of that stuff, platu, kapi, long ruah, with boiled veggies and little fried fish.
^
We seem to have reversed our tastes, (me and Mrs) i prefer that stuff there ^ and of course a very spicy somtam at least twice a day.
Somtom, lahb, namtok, kor mu, gai yang, kao neow, I could live on that food. When the maids are cooking it up I am one happy camper.
You cook her up some decent western (good ol' USA BBQ!) food she'll love it. I have'nt met a Thai woman yet that didn't love it each one has said they don't like "farang food," til they've had a decent meal.Marmers says that if I cook her up barbecue smothered in Cattlemans sauce, potato salad, and pinto beans she will just pick at it though. The (future) wife always eat all my coleslaw I never get seconds.
FriscoFrankie, I absolutely agree with that. My wife is always craving for a good steak.
Anyway, I will have a lamb roast today as is the tradition for easter sunday. For western food there is no better cook than my mother of course.
Do it, AO.... Yippie!Originally Posted by friscofrankie

Ff = Ao?
I had fried rice for lunch, but then a short while later brother in law came home with more: larp moo, gai yang, luk chin tot and rice.
Now I just finished a bowl of lat na that someone put in front of my face.
So full now....
Go back to that post (by Ff) and the one before (by AO) and read carefully, mate.Originally Posted by Fabian

Being German is not that bad errrr... just some.
mango shake: 60baths Mmmmmmmmm....
So good I tried to drink it too fast and got an ICECREAM HEADACHE!
Club Sandwich: 125baths Very good...
I had this in one of my locals here in thonglor today, and although I enjoyed it, it doesn't beat somtam and sticky rice for 30baths IMO!
The mango shake I could have everyday mind you
So you had to bring 185 baths with you to pay your check bin?
Must of been hard getting them there...
^I thought it was just the newbies I got with that one, ice-baby
just a silly joke is all
Good because I was joking too.
Well that means the jokes on me coz I thought you seriously thought I would take 185 bath tubs to the shops! Where would I find them on a long weekend for starters??
I had a peanut butter and jelly sandwich, Doritos and a glass of milk.
I dont usually have lunch, I dont usually have breakfast till about 10-11 o'clock so there never seems much point......I probably wont be posting in here much so just imagine there's a post everyday saying "nothing today" and it will save us all a lot of time.....any variation on the above and I will endever to let you know
I have more than the average number of arm and legs
