    'Ball in Hand'.
It's OK if you're going in there with a mate or three. There's no open tables.
    Just pay by the hour.

    I like a challenge table.

"Footie" - do you mean footie on the telly or the football tables?

I went in for a drink here last week and it was ok. The drinks are a reasonable price, worth a look if you are in the area.

I prefer the bar MtD takes me to play pool in at Soi 33, I've always had an enjoyable evening in there.

When you play there you will normally have a full-time waitress there to handle drinks and arranging the table for each game. Used to take the wife there for a game every now and then (yeah - I am a classy kind of guy!) - and we would normally have the room to ourself. It's even got a TV and it's own stereo system, so you can choose your own music (and volume!). Bring your own music if you'd like. Just go through the go-go bar, and through the door on the left just before the restrooms.

Don't forget to ask the waitress to show you the hidden entrance to the short-time room. You would never have found it on your own.....

Of course, my main reason for playing there is that my wife normally beats the crap out of me in pool. And I am the one who taught her how to play! If that happened in front of a lot of people, it would just be too humiliating for me, and I would end up drinking too much.

    Which usually happens anyway........
Sharkeys on Cowboy also has two nice little pool tables upstairs. when it used to have good looking go-go dancers one could take them upstairs to play pool in their g-strings and thigh high boots....

What is "after work" like in the daytime? I am always on the lookout for good afternoon watering holes.

AfterWork is usually quiet during the daytime.

Ok if you want to have a challenge match against Macha but not much else.

Of course you can drink as soon as the doors open.

I had a look through the new 'AfterWork' bar and I'm very impressed.

The location is really just across Suk from where it is now, so still very convenient.
It's prolly bigger than the present one and when finished it will have 4 9-ball tables and 3 for 8-ball. There's even room for cars to park.

The move should be done at the end of June.

If you're coming from the Asoke side it's the next little alley/driveway after Suda. If you've been around for a while you'll remember there used to be a Korean restaurant here.
