As with the other similar different styles that the Thai breweries released around 5 years ago, the best that could be said is.... at least they tried.

Looks great, thanks , that snowy bear beer is my 7-11 default on rare Belgian visitors day far better than any mass produced Thai ale since Mitweida ceased.

Looks like a great beer and an excellent feed. Given it’s a 1star restaurant what were the prices like?

I regularly drank beer for 17 of my 18 years in Thailand.

Around 5 years ago it was good to see half a dozen different style beers pop up in all the 7s. 3 different companies had a weizen, some red style ales - Copper, Red Dragon? etc

Unfortunately they had them all at 4% and with the exception of the riceberry one, all gassy, chemical laden crap. Quite a shame, really.

Now there are Carabao and Tawandaeng, both have Dunkel and Weizen, I think they're 4.9% but could be wrong. Have had zero desire to drink one.
