    Song Fa Bak Kut Teh

...part of our exploration of Central World eateries, this Michelin-recommended restaurant is located on the third floor. We decided on a change from Italian cuisine to celebrate SD's Hokkien heritage: Loin rib mee sua soup (bone in), khao tom mu, clay pot pork tenderloin in black pepper sauce (the star!), fragrant garlic fried chicken and bak choi in oyster sauce. SD ordered a home-made barley drink and I had a Heineken. Everything was tasty and promptly served, but the clay pot pork will bring us back here. (*cough*)...we also stopped in at Cheesecake Factory for a light Basque cheesecake and an enormous Chocolate Tower confection...the latter had to be taken home).

I thought Bah Kut Teh was a Malaysian dish? A friend recommended it to me when I went to Malaysia. I guess it's Malaysian Chinese - Hokkien, as you (TC) said.

Thnx for the pics & review. Looked great!
