...after a visit to the tiny supermarket/cafe Viven (Sukh soi 19) for pickled okra and local mortadella, we stopped at Pala for lunch. The chef had new menu items out that proved to be very tasty:
bruschetta with chili oil and Parmesan...
octopus salad...a luncheon event! The protein was tender and flavorful...burrata with pesto, grilled tomato, rocket and sweet balsamic vinegar: my new favorite appetizer...
Paccheri pasta in a mildly cheesy sauce garnished with guanciale, artichoke, fresh peas and rocket: unbelievably tasty...Majestically enthroned amid the vulgar herd
